Naljor Tsering is a Ph.D. candidate in the Historical and Philological Science section at École Pratique des Hautes Études, PSL. He is also a member of the Center for Research on East Asian Civilizations. His research interests include Tibetan oral literature, indigenous Tibetan beliefs, ritual practices, and early Bon treasure literature. The title of his doctoral thesis is ‘dBal chu: a study of the texts and performance of a ritual in the cycle of the Bon divinity Ge khod,’ under the supervision of Charles Ramble.
